i love to prepare pancake for the breakfast...
and i think that someone love to eat ready pancake when wakes up...


Necessary:

1 egg
2 spoons of sugar
100 gr flour
1 spoon baking powder
100 ml milk
a pinch of salt
15 gr butter


how to do: 

beat egg with sugar very quick


add the flour (mixed with baking powder)  and milk


a pinch of salt and, at the end, the butter that you have melted.

in a hot non-stick pan put a dipper of mixture and wait till it shows some bubbles

Recipe: Humus Chickpeas

*** Chickpeas humus, quick starter! ***

i use to do the humus chickpeas in my way...
and i love to serve as a starter at dinner...

Necessary:

necessary 4 humus



230 gr Chickpeas cooked
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon of mustard
olive oil
1/2 lemon
salt
pepper

I use a small mixer and i start putting garlic, and chop it.

Then I put in the mixer all the rest:

chickpeas (that I have washed when take out from their box), mustard, pepper, salt, lemon juice (squeeze the half lemon) and oil (about 1/3 cup).

And start with the mixer!!!

every time I taste salt and if is a little bit “lumpy”, add some other olive oil and mix yet.

But what can I do now if I only had the privilege to read Shantaram, Gregory David Roberts novel. 

 Ok, Ok, he wrote it in 2003, you know I'm telling you what's new
 but for those who have not yet had the privilege ... you have to read it 
 let's assume that you've made a trip to India and fatality're also gone to Mumbai ... 


book to read almost in one breath (if only because 1177 pages require at least stops physiological, even just a few hours of sleep).

Amaryllis charms

My lovely Amaryllis

It started to comes out of the ground during Christmas holidays,
it grows up a lot and when it is in blossom...
What happen?... the weight breaks the stem, so i've saved it putting in a jar

What is Amaryllis?
It is a bulb, it comes from South Africa, and the name descend from a grecian verb that
means to shine...i think it describes the flower really well.

The vegetable soup, easy!



Ok, ok, i know, you are quite unhappy to see that the first recipe is the soup!
There are 3 reasons:

1) i like soup because it is a mix of many stuff: i wanna my blog will be the same, a mix of the things i like: cooking, photographing, drawing, fashion, reading, writing...and many others!!!

2) after Christmas holidays, when all of us eat too much, we have to be purified and what's better than a vegetables soup? And is started the Carnival, so if you wanna eat frittelle, traditional italian sweets (i will prepare and will show everything) and live without regrets, there's only one way to survive: the soup. Oh yes.

3) The soup is an easy mix that you can realised in a cheap way. Use taste and fantasy! What do you want anymore?

Necessary

zucchini
peas
cauliflower
potatoes
white cabbage (1/4)
olive oil
salt
pink pepper (not really necessary the pink pepper)

(my vegetables soup is different every time, it depends from what's inside the fridge, but "basics and necessary" are the onion, the carrots and the potaoes).

How to do

for first:
the vegetables have to be washed, peeled and cut.

Then
put all vegetables in a deep pot and cover with water, put salt.

Start cooking
When the soup start boiling, lower the fire at the least, and wait for (about) 40 minutes. Try with the fork to feel the potatoes: if are tender the soup is ready!

i serve with some roasted bread and i add olive oil (and pink pepper).

(sometimes i put in the pot for first the onion with oliv oil, so i fry lightly the onion and then i put the others vegetables, cover with water, put salt and wait).
